My name is Jacob Durrant, I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1986. I've been absolutely addicted to art, more so than anything else, for as long as I can remember. I remember when I was 5 or 6, I would spend hours drawing on an old paint like dos program, which is coincidentally where I found the second thing I would become fascinated with, computers. I have built and rebuilt my own computer over the years, as things break, or just become way too outdated. In highschool I took 4 years of drafting, and thought that I would become an architect, but after a year of college going for architecture, and then two years away to serve as a missionary for my church I realized that I would never be happy with architecture. I could have done it I'm sure, it just wasn't what I wanted, I want to be an artist, and a computer geek, and so I decided to change my major for when I go back to school this fall, or summer depending on the way things work out, to a computer art degree.
